In a minute, you’ll see an image – move the blue dot to reveal more tiles. If it doesn’t open, click here.

How many tiles do you need to see to recognize the image?

This is the result of a collaboration between me and Hannu Korhonen, a fellow member of the GeoGebra group on LinkedIn. He responded to my Interactive Gallery of Derivative Art with a GeoGebra applet made with GIMP. I figured out how to use GIMP, and went back a just few more years for my image. I like Hannu’s better – but I think the artist would get a kick out of mine!

    About

After teaching for 14 years, I now design curriculum and create digital and print instructional materials for high school and middle school math. I have also invented and am now marketing radian-scale protractors. Check out www.proradian.net! I'm very happily married and have 2 grown sons and a cat named Louie.
